FIFA 22's Team of the Week has been released, featuring the biggest and the best stars of the past seven days across the globe.

An accolade for any player, this lucky 11 - plus substitutes - are the ones who impressed EA enough to hand out one of those pretty black and gold cards. If you're lucky enough, you'll find one in a pack this week on Ultimate Team.

TOTW cards go for even more money than the regular ones and there's a chance to duel against this set of superstars within the Squad Battles section of FUT for XP and coins.

And what do coins make? Prizes!

There are a handful of Premier League stars included in this week's squad, though Gabriel Jesus - scorer of the solitary goal for Manchester City in their win against Chelsea - is the only one who gets in the initial XI.

Arsenal's North London Derby hero Emile Smith Rowe is on the bench, along with Kourtney Hause who scored against Manchester United.

Elsewhere in the team, Ben Brereton of Blackburn Rovers is also on the bench. There are places too for Karim Benzema in the first XI and Sergino Dest, following strong performances in LaLiga over the last week.

Felipe Anderson and Nicolo Barella are both in the team, too.

FourFourTwo was launched in 1994 on the back of a World Cup that England hadn’t even qualified for. It was an act of madness… but it somehow worked out. Our mission is to offer our intelligent, international audience access to the game’s biggest names, insightful analysis... and a bit of a giggle. We unashamedly love this game and we hope that our coverage reflects that.
